What we collect, and what we do not.

What we collect

To fulfil an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and telephone number if you give one. We keep a record of what you ordered and when.

If you subscribe to our occasional notes we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.

Card details

We do not see, handle or store your full card number. Card payments are captured by our payment processor on their own systems. We receive only a confirmation, the card brand and the last four digits, which is what lets us match a payment to an order and issue a refund.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process order data because it is necessary to perform the contract you entered into. We keep transaction records because tax and accounting law requires it. We send marketing email only with your consent, and you can withdraw that at any time.

Who else sees it

Our carrier, to deliver the parcel. Our payment processor, to take the payment. Our hosting and email providers, in the course of running the site. We do not sell your data, we do not trade mailing lists, and we do not share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for seven years to meet tax obligations. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Account details are kept until you ask us to close the account.

Cookies

The site sets the cookies it needs to keep a cart and a login session working. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to marketing. Write to support@contrastgoods.store and we will answer within 30 days.
